the face of continued incidents of femicide and daily acts of violence against women, and those exposed to strong media coverage and those relegated to a few lines in the record, we think that this emergency can not wait any longer, or worse yet, fall into silence. We believe that all associations working in the field in the fight for the rights you have to reconnect and build together a series of actions, concrete and symbolic to combat violence against women, gender stereotypes and heterosexism.
Knowing that this struggle we must develop on several levels:
- make visible and popular tools to support women victims of violence, and dialogue with the institutions to continue to be funded, and above all increased;
- create symbolic actions in the places of the city, which gives food for thought and memory are collective
- build together an event public citizen in the vicinity of 25 November, international day against violence against women;
- a civil processes for femicide.
We invite you to attend the first initiative of this path, October 26th in Bari at 19.30 in Piazza San Ferdinando, and your willingness to communicate a first collective meeting for the construction of a later time.
