Women and the city government - reasons for the disagreement, a sense of
proposed public assembly called by the Coordination Women and Power "

We have therefore proposed to the Mayor just reconfirmed and party representatives to a series of actions to restore the gender balance also, and especially through the specification of objective criteria and selection procedures.
In recent months we have actually observed in the composition of the City Council, in the choices made so far to form the various institutional bodies, and presenting the program of this Administration our invitation has been completely rejected.
We consider this as one of the most visible signs of strife in the relationship between politics and society as a whole, both because it is a serious imbalance in terms of equal representation is because it shows how politics, particularly that of the parties, remains totally plastered in a system of rules, favoring affiliations and alliances, dramatically held out of the whole process of government capital skills, ideas and worldviews.
In particular, we believe that for those who administer, consider the marginal political thought and women, and unnecessary an analysis of genres, all it means to deprive an indispensable contribution to the knowledge and the re-imagining of the city as places the lives of women and men, ruled by centering the subjects who inhabit them, the quality of life and socio-cultural relations.
